This workshop offers a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, build networks, and explore the science-policy interface and how it can respond to today’s regulatory landscape.
Over the course of 1.5 days, the Cefic-LRI interactive workshop will showcase how science is evolving to meet the dual demands of chemical safety regulation and sustainability goals.
Leading researchers will present the latest progress from LRI-funded projects advancing chemical safety assessments in the areas of human health and environment.
Each session will feature presentations from researchers involved in current LRI-funded projects, followed by open Q&A segments to spark discussion among researchers, policymakers, and industry representatives.
The event will culminate in a high-level panel discussion exploring how to bridge science with policy needs.
Lunch will be provided and the first day will end with a networking event.
